JOAB Tuhairwe It was an overwhelming event at Seeta High school when Mirinda Miss Teens search visited the campus. Students gathered in their main auditorium to witness who was to be crowned their representative this year for the main event. The function kicked off at around 3pm and ended almost at sunset when one called Moreen Nanteza form 3 was crowned their miss. She had her game plan done well, very playful, charming and intellectually alert which the brand manager of Mirinda said they were actually interested in. Vampino on the other hand, faced it rough.
As usual, the event was graced with new artist this time around and it was time for Vampino of Swangz Avenue to rock the students but only to everybody’s surprise when he was booed by a group of students in the audience.
When some of them were asked why they were doing this and yet he is one of the house hold musicians in Uganda, they said that this was his 3rd time to visit that school in a short period of time and they were tired of him.
Vampino sang some of his favorite songs like Zina, Sika, Pigiri Wuno and others but to his surprise few students were cheering him. When the former blue three member Jackie Chandilu got on stage, the auditorium got a blaze and every student stood on his or her feet. Dressed in a dazzling short dress and a pair of leggings, Jackie started her fantastic performance to an extent that she never wanted to leave the stage with students requesting her songs one after the other.
