Team No Sleep manager, Jeff Kiwanuka, who was recently linked to the murder of a young boy in Busia, has denied involvement in the act claiming he is being framed by his enemies.
Speaking to the media on Monday in Kampala, police spokesperson Fred Enanga said that Kiwa had intimated to them that a Facebook page claimed to have been used to lure the murderer, Were Herbert, was never his.
This comes after Were, a resident of Lumino village, Busia district, beheaded his 6 year old brother Ogema Joel with hopes of being recruited into a cult (Illuminati).
He alleges that during April 2016, through Facebook, he got in touch with Jeff Kiwa, a “resident of Kabalagala township and a manager of Team No Sleep”, who promised to recruit him to become a member of Illuminati so as to become rich on condition he brought a head of any of his relatives.
Were added that Jeff Kiwa told him not to call while in Kampala but for them to meet at Dejavu Bar in Kabalagala.
However a few days back Jeff Kiwanuka was arrested and charged with ritual sacrifice and murder but he denied all these allegations indicating that some musicians who are fighting wars with him used this Facebook page to attack and bring him down.
