As business lady and actress Mami Deb prepares to marry her fiancé, Michael, in the Maldives, she opens up about the beginnings of their relationship, dispelling common assumptions about wealth as the foundation of their bond.

Reflecting on their early dates, Mami Deb shared, “I didn’t fall for his money; I fell for his kindness. When we met, he made me believe he was broke, and I even offered to pay for our dates.”

She revealed that she never felt attracted to him for his wealth, as she’s hardworking and can afford her own desires.

Michael’s humble approach drew Mami Deb to him even more.

“I thought he was spacing our dates to save up,” she admitted. Despite these misconceptions, she found herself deeply moved by his sincerity.
