Lutalo’s comments came in response to a question about artists he believes have excelled over the past 15 years and those he envisions with promising futures.

Lutalo emphasized the steady rise of Ugandan music and the impressive contributions of various artists who have worked to elevate the industry.

“We have more than ten male and female Ugandan artists who have made a difference, and more who are making it,” he said, noting both established names and upcoming talents with bright prospects.

As one of Uganda’s celebrated musicians himself, Lutalo’s words resonated with the audience, as he encouraged continued support for the local music industry.
