Comedian Patrick Salvado has revealed that reducing his alcohol intake is behind his weight loss, saying he has cut whiskey and wine out of his routine.
“Whiskey and wine are now out of the picture,” he said, adding that he came across social media pages that share tips on how to consume certain types of alcohol while losing weight, and some of the advice has worked for him.
Salvado also revealed that the algorithms on most of his social media platforms have been recommending different weight-loss remedies, some of which he has tried.
While he acknowledged that people who see him in person have noticed a visible difference in his appearance, he said his weighing scale tells a different story.
“People keep telling me I’ve lost weight but when I weigh myself I’m still 103kgs. I don’t know why,” he said, suggesting that perhaps his body is redistributing his weight.
Despite the difference between what people see and what his weighing scale indicates, Salvado believes there has been a noticeable change in his appearance.
