David Lutalo has strongly denied allegations that he has ever received government funds or conspired with President Museveni’s aides.
In an interview, Lutalo, holding a Bible, swore that he has never been involved in any underhanded dealings with the government, nor has he ever benefited from its resources.
“I swear, while holding this holy Bible, that I have never eaten any government funds, nor have I ever secretly conspired with President Museveni’s aides in any way,” Lutalo stated in a bid to clear his name amidst growing speculation.

The singer has recently faced public scrutiny for not aligning himself with the opposition, which has led some critics to accuse him of secretly working with the government.
Lutalo’s refusal to join the “struggle” – a term often associated with political activism in opposition to the ruling regime – has fueled these rumors, with many suspecting he might be benefiting from government support.
However, Lutalo has firmly denied these accusations, stating that he has never conspired with government officials or received any financial backing from them.
