The entertainment/music face of Uganda has got yet another chance to enjoy fine reggae tunes that will leave you jumping high in the air, throwing legs in all directions.

The Destiny-1 group in the month of August came out of studio with the fine reggae tune titled ‘Mama don’t cry’, this very tune is already one of the most downloaded reggae tune. For great reggae lovers this is not one of those album fillers but rather a tune worth the hype, it’s worth the listen.

Destiny-1 is a duo composed of fresh and talented Ugandan boys in their tender ages of 20’s. The duo which has come through to express their talent in the reggae genre is already doing a commendable job.

“Mama don’t cry” is their debut song recorded under the 2013 Destiny-1 Music Entertainment, Kish Records, Inc.

The lyrics of the song tell a story of a typical African expressing their love for the mother. With a warm loving heart, the lyrics express the heartfelt thanks for what Mama has taught her child.

However it seems the “Mama” is worried and the lyrics come as an encouragement to the “Mama” not to cry but rather to pray and hope everything to be okay.

They seem to sound like Peter Miles at the start of the song however, as the song progresses, they recollect themselves finding their unique touch which they maintain throughout the song. “Mama don’t cry” is one of those blowing trumpets for our lovely mothers.

In summary it is vocalodically sensationally worth one’s time. Basically, the song is that kind of song you would easily fall in love with. At this rate, the sky is the limit for the Destiny 1 duo and we can’t wait for what else is in store.
