Ronald Mugula the man who disciplined Golola’s tormentor, now the late Andras Nagy has threatened to quit the game of kickboxing. Mugula mentioned that if the autopsy reveals that the cause of Nagy’s death is due to the effects of the kicks and blows from the game, he will quit. Here’s what he said in Luganda. An English translation follows afterwards.
“bwekinazuuka nti Andras Nagy okufaakwe kwavudde mukumukuba bikonde na teke nze nga Ronald Mugula world champion ngenda kulekawo omusipi gwensi yonna nve kukulwaana sikunzitila bwerele ndeka mukaziwange nabaana era kola butaweera okulaba nzuula ekyasse super star oyo
era olurwaana lwa october luri mulusuubo.”
The English translation:
“If the post-mortem reveals that Andras Nagy died as a result of the kicks and blows he has suffered as a kick-boxer, I am ready to quit the game despite the fact that I am a world champion. I will throw in the towel, I am not ready to die and leave my wife and children in agony and pain. At the moment, I am so busy picking up the details as far as the death of this superstar is concerned. Please note, my October fight is now uncertain, it may happen or I may cancel it.”
Golola on the other hand may be celebrating and his fans have gone ahead to predict that Zsamboki will die soon. “No one beats Golola and lives, that’s why Nagy is dead, Zsamboki is next,” a fan commented. Our condolences to Andras Nagy’s family.
