South Africa based Ugandan sangoma and money bags, Ivan Ssemwanga has been forgiven following an incident where he poured booze on a city business man known as Gadafi Sadat Serusiba.
Gadafi closed the case after Ivan apologized to him. “I have closed the case because what I wanted has been worked on. I also wanted Ivan to come and apologize and he has done that. Also the law has taken its course in this matter irrespective of the fact that Ivan is a very rich man. I am very happy,” Sadat said before the media, Ivan and their mediator, tycoon Kirumira.
Ivan Ssemwanga who noted that his work in South Africa had come to a standstill because his passport had been confiscated by Police said that he was very happy that Sadat has forgiven him and promised never to do it again. “As young businessmen we don’t want to beef each other at all because you never know when you will need your friend. I poured liquor on him and I didn’t intend it. I have decided to pay him for the property that he lost during the scuffle where my bouncers throw him out of club Guvnor. I have given him 10,000 dollars and closed this,” he said.
Sadat then confirmed that he had also let go of the past and forgiven Ivan. “According to the meeting that we had this morning, I have forgiven you. I also found out that you are not the one who stole my things. You only started the fight and the things was taken by unknown goons in the club. You didn’t take anything from me and I forgive you,” he said.
Their mediator, tycoon Kirumira thanked Ivan for being so humble and for apologizing and apologizing to Gadafi and also for taking responsibility for the lost property and taking the 10,000 dollars.
Gadafi has withdrawn his case and made a statement to that effect. Ivan’s passport has been returned.
