The Met Gala 2025 delivered more glamour, excitement, and purpose than ever before.

Held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, this year’s event broke records by raising an impressive $31 million for the Costume Institute.
With the theme “Tailored for You,” the evening celebrated 300 years of Black fashion, culture, and history. It marked the first Met Gala dedicated to Black designers and menswear, coinciding with the museum’s upcoming exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” opening May 10.
As always, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour led the event, joined by co-chairs Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, and honorary chair LeBron James.
The host committee included Simone Biles, Regina King, Spike Lee, Usher, and Emmy-winning actress Ayo Edebiri from The Bear.
Here are ten standout celebrity looks from the night:
- Ayo Edebiri paid tribute to her stylish father with a striking Ferragamo gown featuring white fabric and red beaded accents. She completed the look with a dramatic black leather jacket.
- Doja Cat, in collaboration with Marc Jacobs, wore a bold pinstripe bodysuit with sculptural elements and ocelot patterns, perfectly living up to her creative reputation.

- Zendaya turned heads in a custom Louis Vuitton white silk tuxedo, channeling Bianca Jagger with a mix of masculine cuts and soft, elegant makeup.

- Janelle Monáe embraced playful fashion, revealing a pinstriped Thom Browne suit beneath a theatrical striped coat and top hat, complete with a briefcase.

- Colman Domingo, in honor of André Leon Talley, wore a dramatic blue Valentino cape and later revealed a stylish windowpane jacket with polka dot accents underneath.
- Lupita Nyong’o highlighted Chanel’s iconic tailoring in a shimmering aquamarine pantsuit with matching accessories and rhinestone-decorated eyebrows.

- Bad Bunny represented Puerto Rican pride in a layered brown Prada suit, accessorized with a traditional pava hat and oversized leather bag.
- Pharrell Williams embraced clean design in a Louis Vuitton look—black pants, white jacket, black tie, and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
- Serena Williams embodied old Hollywood in an icy blue Moncler gown, complete with a glittering long coat and golden finger waves.

- Diana Ross, making her first Met Gala appearance in over 20 years, stole the show in a dramatic gown embroidered with the names of her children and grandchildren.
