Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa has officially confirmed his intention to contest for the position of Member of Parliament for Nansana Municipality.

He is seeking to run under the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket, adding a new dynamic to the race for the constituency’s leadership.
Mukasa made the announcement during a rally in Kawempe, where he joined NUP members, including party president Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine.
The rally was aimed at mobilizing support for NUP candidate Elias Nalukoola in the Kawempe North by-election, following the passing of former MP Muhammad Ssegirinya.
Mukasa’s entry into the race sets up a contest against the incumbent MP, Wakayima Musoke, who currently holds the seat.
However, he will first have to secure the NUP ticket, facing stiff competition from musician Big Eye Starboss, who has also declared interest in the position.
