Here’s a look at some notable figures and their political ambitions:
Flavia Namulindwa
The former Bukedde TV presenter is eyeing the Gomba East Constituency seat in Parliament. After an unsuccessful bid in 2021, Namulindwa is back in Uganda after spending five years in the USA, ready to relaunch her political career with renewed determination.

Joyce Bagala
A former NBS TV news anchor, Bagala is the current Woman MP for Mityana District. She made headlines in 2021 after defeating Judith Nabakooba, the then-Minister of Lands, Housing, and Urban Development. Bagala has expressed her intention to seek re-election for the same position.
Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa
Zambaali, a prominent NBS TV news anchor and talk show host, is making his political debut by contesting for the Nansana Municipality parliamentary seat.

Joel Ssenyonyi
