Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) has entered into two major partnership agreements with two different companies in a bid to improve the welfare standards of the club and its entire staff.
The two deals were announced yesterday when Kajina’s successor Commissioner General Doris Akol paid her first official visit to the club at their training grounds at Hormis Dallen Primary School in Gayaza.

“I have long been involved in this club since it started in Lyantonde and I caution you as players to work hard towards the success of the club to make us proud,” Akol remarked at the occasion.
She was also available to usher in Hema Beverages, the producers of Hema drinking water as they announced their one year support to the club. Under the arrangement, Hema will provide all the necessary water to the club during training and all other club associated activities for one full year.
“We are happy to be associated with URA FC, a leading club in Uganda,” Poojari Uday, the company’s representative and also a marketing manager remarked at the occasion.
Akol did not only usher in the Hema Beverages but was also happy to announce their partnership with Verma Co, the importers of Bajaji-Boxer motorcycles in Uganda as she pledged full support that the organization will extend to the team. The partnership between the two will see the importing company supply boda-bodas to all the club’s staff (about 40 people) starting with players as supplement to their wages.
“We know we pay you a salary but we want to complement your earnings. Use them well such that you can also have something to boast about,” reads a statement on the clubs official website.
