Thanks to technology, people are becoming more efficient on their jobs. Thanks once again to Social Media, the gap between buyers and sellers has been reduced. And so it has been for the Ladies who give out sex services in exchange for money.
The trend is most likely to be the hottest in 2014 according to Facebook analysts and we may see prostitutes go off the streets and conduct their businesses entirely on Facebook. But how do the buyers and sellers get to know about each other and conduct business.
This is how it all starts: It’s a very secretive community and it takes much time to penetrate it and actually be able to identify a Facebook Prostitute. “Usually you will see it from someone’s Facebook photos and status updates,” says Marvin Ssemujju. “ If she posts sexually inciting updates asking for men to hit her inbox, plus obscene photos and that’s what she does, then it’s most likely she’s a Facebook Prostitute,” Ssemujju adds on.
Apparently, it takes a Facebook inbox to this seller to know her. Others have middlemen, they will add you to secret groups on Facebook where the sex markets take place. With that background, we unveil the story on a one Monica Alinda. Genesis David, a famous Facebook personality shares the insights.
“It started as a post from a less known Paul De Matovu on Kabuladda page…Alinda Monica act your age…..” Comments began…some were arguing Paul to expose Monica’s true characters others were trying to stop Paul. We had two sides, one supporting Monica and others Paul as its always the case with Facebook Wrangles.
Paul threatened that he has Monica’s nude photos, at first Monica denied that the kid doesnt have the photos but as fire crossed allover the page, she later admitted that the truth is Paul has nude photos of her and how the kid got them. Paul’s story is not too different from Monica on how he got the photos but there was some promise…”akatholo” which Monica never fulfilled at the recent party.
Yesternite, I happened to talk to Paul cautioning him not to spread the photos and of course he obliged because he was to upload them there and then. I also warned him not to share them on whatsapp. I tried to talk to Monica but the phone I know was not getting thru.
Today, at lunch time, Monica with some plain clothed people went to Paul’s workplace they picked him, he tried to resist and according to the witnesses, he was badly beaten along side one guy called “Chris” his workmate who was asking why they were taking Paul. The eyewitness one “nalongo” told me the woman (perhaps Monica) was too furious…exchanging word to whoever asked what was going on.
At 4pm, as I was scrolling to check the 10posts for the day on our daily TV show FB Moment. I saw a post from PhyonahShuhairah Naks “heheheh ka De Paul kakasuleko ku cps…” I immediately called Paul’s number and someone else picked it. He directed me to Shetty Foto Studio where Paul works from. They narrated everything for me.
Then I went to the chairman for that area, I paid him 20k he asked so that we follow up the case. We went to the CPS, the case is there at ref.56/01/01/14 under crime- Computer Mis-use. The guy who worked on the case never forwarded the file to the above authority. I tried to use my insiders to secure a bond for the kid but since the file wasnt available they couldn’t release the kid.”
But is Monica Alinda a Facebook Prostitute, well, here’s what people had to say;
A guy who preferred anonymity comments; “Yes she’s been conducting her business, actually, once I got her services, and we knew each other and she openly told me that this is how she does it.”
However BigEye.ug can’t verify the claims that Alinda is a Facebook sex trader of sorts. Efforts to get her side of the story proved futile.
Above all, with her nude photos going viral on Whatsapp, we can only say, this may be the beginning of a new Facebook culture, or perhaps an exposition of a culture that has been in existence.
