The Nile Special Uganda Cup returns this weekend with several games at different venues with defending champions the Uganda Kobs facing Mutoni Warriors at Lengeds who will be looking forward to defend the title in a pursuit to fill their trophy cabinet with the 8th Cup of the tournament.
Meanwhile Protector Heathens, the four time winners of the trophy (2000-2004) will be hungry to restore their glory days of the early 2000 when the tournament had just started as they take on Pirates at Kyadondo.
The Mongers have been whisked from their House of pain and will play Rhinos at home as Toyota Buffaloes take on the Humps at Impis’s grave yard in Makerere.
This being a knock out tournament, there will be no room for mercy, friendship, no room for a by-pass or a second for complacency as the top eight teams will be seeking to remain the giants and contenders for week three action.
