Ugandan musician Bebe Cool’s son, Alpha Thierry Ssali, has achieved a remarkable milestone in his budding football career by securing a spot on the provisional squad for the Uganda U20 Men’s National Team, also known as Uganda Hippos, for the upcoming All Africa Games 2023 in Ghana.
The announcement was made via a social media post by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), revealing Ssali as one of the 39 individuals selected for the prestigious campaign in West Africa.
Having embarked on his professional football journey in 2023, Ssali signed with Uganda Premier League outfit Express FC. The talented player committed to a two-year contract with the Red Eagles, viewing it as a crucial phase in his development as a footballer.
Notably, Ssali’s contract includes a provision allowing him to explore lucrative opportunities abroad should they arise during this period.
Since joining Express FC, Ssali has showcased exceptional skills on the field, earning recognition as one of the standout performers of the season.
His inclusion among the top players has further solidified his position as a promising talent within the league.
