Prossy Mayanja, the mother to renowned singer Dr. Jose Chameleone, has stepped forward to advise her estranged daughter-in-law, Daniella Atim, against airing their family’s private matters in public.
In recent weeks, Daniella has been vocal about her experiences during her marriage, including allegations of years of domestic abuse, encompassing psychological, emotional, and physical trauma.
Since relocating to the US, she hasn’t hesitated to shed light on the hardships she endured within the Mayanja household.
Prossy, speaking to a news reporter, emphasized the sensitivity of marital issues, stating that what occurs behind closed doors is challenging to articulate.
She acknowledged that every couple faces trials, and perfection is elusive in marriage. Despite this, she expressed concern that Daniella’s continued disclosures could lead to further embarrassment.
A lot of things happen indoors in married people’s homes. I don’t think it’s ever good to start speaking to the public about what happens indoors. This is because you end up embarrassing yourself. I applaud Chameleone for maintaining silence in this matter.
