Uganda Breweries Limited through its main brands Bell Lager, Tusker Lager, Guinness and Tusker Malt Lager will in June 2014 reward forty lucky consumers with an all-expense paid trip to Brazil, the land synonymous with fun, merry making, beauty and the famous Samba culture.
Dubbed Sip Sip Samba, the promotion that runs from March to June will give Ugandans the golden opportunity experience the sights and sounds of Brazil which are known the world over.
Making the announcement, Mark Mugisha, UBL Marketing Manager said that the promotion aims to reward consumers of UBL’s beer brands Bell Lager, Guinness, Tusker Malt Lager and Tusker Lager for their loyalty over the years.
“We at Uganda Breweries Limited, the home of the worlds top brands, have been at the forefront in rewarding our consumers and the Sip Sip Samba promotion is a true testimony to our commitment of creating unique and amazing experiences them as well as our continued desire to reward them for their loyalty” added Mark Mugisha.
To participate in the Sip Sip Samba promotion, customers have to buy a bottle of any of the four brands, check under the crown for a five-digit code then send an SMS with the code to 6050 for the chance to enter the weekly draw to win the trip. The more codes one sends, the higher their chances of winning,” Mark Mugisha said.
Brazil is the world’s sixth-largest economy with Rio de Janeiro named among the top 20 holiday destinations of 2013. The country is slated to host the World Cup in 2014 and Olympics in 2016 and the famous Rio Carnival is Brazil’s most popular holiday where for one full week, the streets of Brazil are engrossed in larger- than- life floats, exhilarating music, and provocative people.
The draws will be carried out every Monday at 8:35pm on NTV Uganda to pick the winners of the cash award prize of UGX 100, 000 and tickets to Brazil.
Mark added that the campaign is meant to give forty Ugandans the opportunity of a lifetime to enjoy the beautiful scenery that has become synonymous with this South American nation. In addition to the trip, consumers also have the chance to win other prizes like instant cash as well as other customized memorabilia.
