Break ups among Ugandan celebs is nothing new. They, just like their counterparts world over, will break up with their lovers over anything and at any time. 2015 saw many such breakups with celebrities walking out of relationships almost every day. Presenting the top five Ugandan celebrity breakups of 2015.
Meddie Ssentongo and Fabiola
When Anitah Fabiola’s nude photos were released to the world by a disgruntled lover, the TV presenter didn’t only lose her job but was ridiculed by everyone including her friends. Along came a man who was the every angel she needed in her toughest of time. Meddie Ssentongo a young tycoon with a big heart gave Fabiola all the care, love and time she needed not to mention the money. Little did Fabiola know that she would be ditched as fast as she was hooked. A few months down the road, she caught Meddie with other women and ended it.
Phina Masanyalaze and Ken
Singer Phina Masanyalaze had it all when she was with her celebrity hubby, Ken Muyisa, a young successful Ugandan footballer in South Africa. All was rosy and well until Ken met another musician called Cindy. He was so mesmerized with his new catch that he started ignoring Phina and his little boy. As time went on, he dumped Phina like a hot potato for Cindy who was fresher, more appealing and single at the time since she had just matched out of her relationship with a zungu lover Mario. When Ken ended it, Phina also hit back at him by hooking another guy.
Professor Big Eye and Sheilah
Professor Big Eye and his ex-lover Sheila Patience Don Zella have had many ups and downs this year to the extent of leaving each other. Professor’s baby mama shocked many when she took to social media and announced their break up citing irreconcilable differences. She revealed that she had learnt something about the singer that she couldn’t stand and asked him to do what makes him happy without her. Professor responded by saying that his ex-lover was plotting to have him killed. The later decided to end it officially and are now leading separate lives with only a few visits to see their children.
Leila Kayondo and SK Mbuga
Leila Kayondo and SK Mbuga have been in an on and off relationship for some time. However recently, SK Mbuga decided to end it all in one blow when he revealed his new lover, introduced her to family and promised to wed her come December 27th. This left Leila is tatters especially because all the cars that she had gotten from the young tycoon had been taken away. When asked, the tycoon revealed that he left Leila because she was not dependable, was very materialistic and not wife material.
Tindatiine and Ssentongo
Western Uganda songbird, Tindatiine had it all when she first met URA soccer player, Robert Ssentongo and then this year she lost it all in a flash. According to sources, when Tindatiine had just met Ssentongo, she wouldn’t leave him whenever she was going to TV or radio for an interview or show. Things turned sour when Ssentongo allegedly started checking out other women and engaging in sex with other women. It is at this time that Tindatiine unleashed the dragon and revealed that despite his firm muscles, Robert is weak in bed and a one minute man who does nothing but cheat on her. Out of anger she cursed her lover and said that he will never score again in a match shortly before becoming born again and finding love in Jesus. Their relationship has never been rekindled.
