UK based Ghanaian singer Nana Richard Abiona, better known by his stage name Fuse ODG, has reacted to why African artistes receive their BET awards backstage. The “Antenna” hit maker took to twitter to show his disapproval of the act calling it utter disrespect.
He further added that for this reason he never attended the award ceremony.
“Dear @BET, the reason why I didn’t come is because you give our awards backstage! You have no respect for our hard work and achievements,” Fuse ODG tweeted.
Meanwhile, the Best International Act: Africa was won by Ghana’s Stonebwoy while Eddy Kenzo won the Viewer’s Choice Best New International Artist.
