Former presidential press secretary, Tamale Mirundi has denied showering praise on former premier and ‘Go Forward’ presidential candidate Amama Mbabazi in a sound clip that has been making rounds on social media platforms.
Speaking on his Top Radio programme after being allowed back on air by the Uganda communication commission’s executive director Godfrey Mutabaazi, Mirundi accused comedians of being behind the circulating sound clip.
“I have been informed that there is a comedian who speaks exactly like me. He could be responsible for that clip or some one else,” Mirundi said before confirming that he actually held talks with UCC boss where he promised to stop using abusive language on air.
