Talia Joy Castellano Dead: Inspirational YouTube Star Dies After 6-Year Battle With Cancer

talia-1Talia Joy Castellano, the charming teen that inspired thousands with her YouTube make-up tutorials, died at 13 of cancer.

With wise beauty tips and an inspirational story, Talia became an Internet sensation and captivated many with her extensive cosmetic knowledge as well as her experience fighting two forms of aggressive cancer: neuroblastoma and preleukemia. On Tuesday, a message appeared on the teen’s Facebook page announcing her death.

Please lift her beautiful soul, her beautiful light to heaven and please send your love and prayers to her family during this most difficult time. God speed little one, may you be free from pain and suffering, may your soul feel the light and love that you brought to so many of us on this Earth during the short time you were her with us. We will miss you more than you will ever know baby girl.

According to huffington post, last summer, doctors told Talia her condition had left her with four months to 1 year to live. On Monday, a Facebook post updated fans saying the teen had been in the hospital for almost 6 months.

On her YouTube channel, taliajoy18, Talia demonstrated great skill with matte bronzer, eyeliner, false eyelashes and more. Despite losing her hair to chemotherapy, the teen’s profile shows a photo of Talia with “Make Up Is My Wig” colorfully written on her head.

The teen’s YouTube channel, which included make-up tutorials and personal video blogs about her cancer treatments, has over 750,000 subscribers.

“YouTube and all the support that I get from everyone telling me that I’m inspiring and not to give up, it really makes you stop and think about how many people there are that love you… You’re not there alone,” Talia told Shira Lazar, co-founder of WhatsTrending, in August 2012.

In September, Ellen DeGeneres invited the Florida native to appear on her show and revealed that Talia had been chosen to be an honorary CoverGirl.

On Tuesday, Ellen and Talia’s fans took to Twitter to mourn the teen’s death.

In a video interview with The Truth 365, Talia was asked how she would like to be remembered.

“In a hundred years, I would like to be remembered as the bubbly girl who wanted to do something about childhood cancer,” Talia said.

Jose Chameleone cleans up Twitter, follows only two Ugandan artistes, your guess is as good as ours.

After being unfollowed by the President or rather his administrator, Jose Chameleone has not taken Twitter lightly. The singer has done some cleaning up and has been left with only 108 accounts to follow and only two of those are Ugandan artistes.

It is not rocket science that Chameleone only decides to follow his two brothers Pallaso and Radio&Weasel, had it been any others maybe we would be wondering the criteria he used.

Chameleone is one of the most followed Ugandan artistes on Twitter and not following you may not go so well with you as an artiste.

Judiciary secretary Bigirimana Rubbishes Reports he’s been Denied Visa to the US

SECRETARY TO the Judiciary, Pius Bigirimana has described reports that he’s been denied a visa to The United States as ‘malice’ insisting was in New York just recently.

There was a published story that Bigirimana was denied entry to The States where he was invited to attend the inauguration of Prof Jim Gash as the president of Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. According prior News, Bigirimana was expected to travel alongside other judicial officials including Chief Justice Bart Katureebe.

Reacting to the story, Bigirimana describes the reports as malice and unfounded.“This is malice . I returned from New York recently. That’s rubbish,” he said. Indeed, Bigirimana was in the United States in May this year for the 100th anniversary of the International Labour Organization (ILO) to which he is the secretary. As part of its 100th anniversary, ILO painted a mural at the Uganda Embassy in New York in recognition of the efforts the government has put in place to solve youth unemployment.

The mural, part of the five painted around New York, specifically honours the Youth Livelihood Programme (YLP) for its unique approach in promoting youth entrepreneurship while contributing to the reduction of youth unemployment.To date, the Programme which was initiated by Bigirimana following his posting to the Gender Ministry in June 2013, has funded 20,159 youth projects. Up to Shs9,232 billion has been revolved to finance another youth 1,090 projects.Bigirimana has been at the forefront for integrity and has been praised by President Yoweri Museveni for his role in fighting corruption in Uganda.He has also been praised for his hard work and patriotism.
