His music experience in the past years has shaped him to be a better rapper on the Ugandan music scene. Attributing his music to Originality, Preciseness and Uniqueness, the ROW Records signee OPU Isaac, a Ugandan hip hop artiste has exuberantly expressed his merit ever since his debut entry in 2009, a year where his patience and talent were put to test. Despite his debut song being rejected for airplay on some top radio station, OPU didn’t excuse himself from hip-hop’s drawing board.
Crafting his rap mastery through assorted collaborations with some of the skilled rappers like Enygma, Lyrikal Proof, and T Bro, OPU has managed to mesmerize a logical integer of hip-hop fans. With his previous project “Can’t Cope” still charming fans on a crazy rap trip, the Row Record quarter has yet another enticing sound to feed to his followers.
“Inside My Heart” is OPU’s latest sound that comes off his forthcoming mixtape titled ‘Misunderstood’ as the third track. This sound was producer by Stefan Hinterlang aka “Ear To Tha Beat,” a Germany beat maker and sound engineer. With an extreme sound recording, mixing and mastering skill by JT of YEGO Production, OPU finds himself uncovering a few dark encounters in life on an emotional voiced theme and chopped up pianos with deep bass over hip-hop snares and drums.
In an environment where hip hop as a genre is just transpiring, OPU and his Management have tried to reflect and represent this ‘mis-concepted’ genre through their charity scheme that beds under their label whose core objective is to reach out to the needy and support them through several hip hop activities.
