“When I die, put my papers in a frame and replace it as my picture in my coffin. That is my wish. Bye.”
Moses Akula, a graduate from Multimedia University,is now celebrating a new chapter in his life after securing a lucrative position with an NGO.
His journey, marked by a decade of frustration, even led him to contemplate ending his life.
Last year, Moses sent shockwaves across social media with a heartbreaking message hinting at suicide.
He showcased his academic certificates, lamenting the lack of opportunities that had reduced him to a life of begging.
In what seemed like a final will, the Bachelor of Business Administration graduate shared a photo of his degree, expressing his disillusionment.
“When I die, put it in a frame and replace it as my picture in my coffin. That is my wish. Bye,” read the chilling Facebook post, suggesting his Second Class Honours (Upper Division) degree be his coffin’s display picture.
The post elicited a flood of reactions on social media. Amid the outpouring of concern, Reagan Ochieng, who had faced similar struggles, reached out.
Reagan shared his own story of redemption through Mugwenu Doctors, traditional healers who had rescued him from despair.
Initially sceptical, Moses eventually contacted Mugwenu Doctors after much soul-searching. The medicine man discovered Moses was under a black spell cast by an evil witch who had cursed his family. He immediately underwent a cleansing ritual.
Just a month later, Moses received a call from an NGO where he had previously submitted his CV.
After a successful interview process, he was offered a job as a field supervisor. Moses credits Mugwenu Doctors for lifting the curse and freeing him from the spirit of retrogression that had haunted his life.
