It seems Kyambogo University students’ prayers have been answered as Makerere University Students will be going through the same ordeal they witnessed last year. Here’s the new timetable after the re-opening:
1. Orientation Week: Saturday 7th September, 2013 to Friday 13th
2. Semester One: Saturday 14th September, 2013 to Sunday 12th January, 2014 (15 weeks of Teaching)
3. Christmas Break: Saturday 21st December, 2013 to Sunday 29th December, 2013 (7 days)
4. Semester One Examination: Monday 30th December, 2013 to Sunday 12th January, 2014 (2weeks)
5. Semester One Vacation: Monday 13th January, 2014 to Friday 31st January, 2014
6. 64th Graduation: Monday 27th to Thursday 30th January, 2014.
7. Semester Two: Saturday 1st February, 2014 to Saturday 31st May, 2014. (17 weeks)
8. Semester Two Vacation: Saturday 31st May, 2014 to Saturday 23rd August, 2014
9. Recess Term: Saturday 31st May, 2014 to Saturday 9th August, 2014 (10 weeks)
