Leila Kayondo’s sisters laid to rest following Lake Victoria boat tragedy

Singer Leila Kayondo’s sisters, who perished in the Lake Victoria boat accident on Saturday November 25, have been laid to rest.

The “Manifesto” hitmaker’s sisters who have been identified as Nankunda Shylla and Peace Mildred were finally buried on Monday, November 26, by close friends and family, amidst heavy grief.

Leila Kayondo revealed the tragic loss on social media on Monday, saying she didn’t know how to deal with the pain.

Peace and Shylla were among the 32 people whose bodies were retrieved from the lake following the capsizing of the boat that had over 100 people on board.
