Uganda Cranes defender Richard Kasagga has completed a transfer move to Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA FC) from Kira Yong FC. This came after the two super league clubs reached an agreement in a deal worth Ushs 10Million, according to club Vice Chairman Mr. Allan Ssewanyana.
“Kasagga is a great player with command and authority,” George Nsiimbe, KCCA’s head coach says. Indeed he is a player with lots of quality at his young age of 21years.
The agreement was reached upon yesterday and signed between KCCA FC represented by their Vice Chairman Mr. Allan Ssewanyana, the club secretary Tamale David, Team manager Mr Ahmed Kabuye and Kira young Chairman Mr. Lukwago Jimmy plus Mr Richard Kasaga. This was done in a move to replace departed club captain Kawooya Fahad who joined SC Villa.
Kasagga joins a long list of arrivals at the Lugogo based club including Owen Kasule, Francis Ssembatya, Paul Muchwerezi, Martin Elungati, YasinMugabi, Dan Isiagi, Brian Umonyamong others.
Nevertheless there are allegations stating that the player has not yet put a signature on the transfer paper due to failure to agree on his salary figures. It’s said that the player demands to be among the most paid players of the club with a pay of about 1.5million every end of the month.
