Following rumours that Desire Luzinda was hiding in Mbarara to avoid arrest, the singer has come out to refute these claims.
The singer who has not set foot at her Wandegeya flats apartment from the time her nudes leaked and arrest threats were made said that she is in perfectly fine condition and not in hiding. She also said that she is using this time to bond with family as she takes one day at a time.
“Am not hiding, am simply enjoying special moments with family and taking one day at a time. Love u dolls,” Desire said in a statement on her Facebook page this morning.
Police is hunting for the singer whom they say contravened the Computer Misuse Act and the Anti-Pornography law. They have been trying to reach her through the phone but her numbers are off revealed a source at Wandegeya police. The singer could face up to 10 years in Jail or a fine not more than 10,000,000shs or both if found guilty of contravening the law.
Her nude pictures were leaked by her ex-lover, a Nigerian man known as Franklin Emuobor Ebenhron, in form of revenge porn after he publicly called him a constar.
