Team Mr. Tourism Uganda, is creating awareness of the strengths of Uganda’s Tourism across the country.
Last Saturday, the team represented by Eustachio Turyahebwa(AUTO),Gatabazi Patrick(UTB),Mirembe Agnes( Around Africa Safaris) and Eric Ntalo(Uganda Tourism Press) launched the Flowerlands community tourism club in Buyende-Kamuli District.
The Flowerlands Tourism club is aimed at making the younger generation participate in tourism development activities and develop a passion for the Uganda’s tourism.
The team members presented Topics such as `introduction to tourism,’ `Career opportunities in tourism,’ ` roles of different tourism organizations,’ and ‘tourism attractions in Uganda.’
Through the programmes, the club will nullify the misconceptions regarding Uganda’s tourism and create a platform for open expression and exchange of ideas regarding tourism-related activities.
