Songstress Fille Mutoni is preparing for a grand return to the stage following an extended break due to personal challenges.
The “Love Again” singer had spent several months in rehabilitation, battling drug addiction, a struggle she has reportedly faced for a long time.
MC Kats, Fille’s former partner and father of her child, shared updates on her recovery journey. In a recent statement, Kats acknowledged that everyone faces ups and downs, but he has consistently supported Fille through her difficult times.
While she was in rehab, Kats attempted to secure a loan from the musicians’ federation to aid her recovery. However, his request was denied.
Eddy Kenzo, the federation’s representative, explained that the federation had already provided support for Fille by facilitating her stay in the rehabilitation center.
According to Kenzo, that was the extent of their assistance for the singer.
Over the weekend, MC Kats shared a heartwarming video of Fille and their daughter enjoying a meal together at a restaurant, marking Fille’s first public appearance since her time in rehab.
Fille had missed her daughter’s birthday due to her treatment, but the two celebrated together during the restaurant outing.
Excited about Fille’s return to music, MC Kats teased her upcoming performances, posting, “Did you all miss Fille’s music? Ok, what stage do you want her on this weekend?“
