Ugandan musician Eddy Kenzo, also known as Edirisa Musuuza, has spoken out in defense of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) amid recent accusations by MC Kats.
Kenzo clarified that the federation actively supports his ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Fille Mutoni, in various aspects of her life, including financial assistance and healthcare.
Responding to MC Kats’ allegations of selfishness and mismanagement of government funds, Kenzo emphasized that it is the federation’s responsibility to provide support to its members, both professionally and personally. He expressed confusion over MC Kats’ accusations, stating that the federation has been instrumental in assisting Fille during challenging times.
Established in May of the previous year, the UNMF has garnered attention for its efforts to unite and empower musicians in Uganda. Despite initial skepticism from some members, Kenzo highlighted the federation’s commitment to its members’ well-being beyond music-related matters.
Kenzo revealed that Fille encountered financial and health-related difficulties upon joining the federation, prompting the organization to intervene and cover her expenses.
He disclosed that Fille has been hospitalized for an extended period, with the federation assuming responsibility for her medical bills and providing necessary support throughout her recovery process.
