Sensational singer Sheebah Karungi was left speechless and emotional after fellow singer Lydia Jazmine surprised her during a live TV interview.
As part of the promotional tour for her upcoming Neyanziza concert, scheduled for October 4th at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Sheebah has been making several media appearances. While on Sanyuka TV, the unexpected moment occurred.
During the interview, Sheebah, also known as Queen Karma, was informed that an artist was about to surprise her.
She was asked to guess who it might be and immediately responded, “If it’s not Kabako, it’s definitely Lydia Jazmine.”
True to her guess, Lydia Jazmine, known for her hit song Masukka, entered the studio with a bouquet of flowers and balloons, much to Sheebah’s delight.
The two singers shared a warm embrace, demonstrating their close friendship.
Lydia Jazmine took the opportunity to express her gratitude to Sheebah for the support she had given her during her debut concert at Hotel Africana last year.
She shared that on the eve of the concert, she had been filled with nerves and anxiety about the turnout and weather.
However, Sheebah, along with Lillian Mbabazi, had visited her in her hotel room late at night to offer words of encouragement. Their presence gave her the confidence she needed to face the big day.
“Many people do not know what Sheebah did for me on the eve of my concert,” Jazmine revealed. “She showed up with Lillian and they gave me the strength I needed. Sheebah also gave me $600, and that’s why I have to repay the favor.”
Sheebah’s response was visibly emotional, as she acknowledged the bond the two share and the meaningful gesture from Lydia Jazmine.
