Eddy Yawe has disclosed the longstanding wealth of his family; revealing that their prosperity comes from assets held by their family for generations.
When questioned about the source of his family’s wealth, Yawe dismissed the notion that their success was extraordinary.
You are simply intimidated too easily. There are many wealthy people in the world, but we do our best.
Yawe went on to share a more personal account of their history, revealing that their father, Jackson Wellington Ssentamu, had owned numerous assets that were lost during the war when he became a rebel.
Our father was a rebel, and we followed in his footsteps, hoping to gain much after the war, but we didn’t. We lost many of our assets, including cattle
The Ssentamu family’s influence extends beyond their immediate household. Yawe noted that many of their relatives own luxurious properties in Gomba.
The Ssentamu siblings, including Chairman Nyanzi, Mikie Wine, Banjo Man, and their sister Irene Kayembe, have not been shy about showcasing their wealth.
