Desire Luzinda, who has been in hiding following the leaking of her nude photos, has finally broken the silence in a recent interview with BBC. In the interview, the singer told BBC’s Ugandan correspondent, Catherine Byaruhanga that according to comments on online posts and what she has been hearing from media houses, she believes some people are compassionate.
Desire added that she was speechless and broke into tears when her mother called her to ask about the images. “Were you drugged or drunk? Because I still dont believe it’s you,” My mum questioned me.
She further revealed that she knows most people blamed her and have made heartless judgements but she will face it.
BBC’s Catherine also interviewed Cindy Sanyu whose nude pictures also leaked a few years back who comforted Desire telling her to accept that her pictures leaked and then stand up and fight it with something positive like releasing a new song that will cover up all this in media.
Desire concluded the interview advising her fellow Ugandans whether famous or not famous, never to take such shameful pictures and that her lawyers are looking into legal options over her leaked nude pictures
