The Cranes this weekend resumed training ahead of an international friendly against Rwanda on November 15.
Micho Sredojevic’s side are using the game against Rwanda as a build-up to their Cecafa title defence, which tournament kicks off later this month in Nairobi, Kenya.
Micho used the three-hour training at KCC Stadium to emphasize ball passion as well as attacking in numbers if his home based players are to address the goal scoring dearth well associated with the country.
The team is expected to enter residential training five days to the encounter with Rwanda, which will be played under floodlights at Namboole.
Notably absent from training was Emma Okwi, Denis Guma, Brian Majwega and Yunus Ssentamu but Micho was optimistic they would attend on Sunday.
Uganda will be hoping to use Cecafa as the perfect tonic in the build-up to next January’s Africa Nations Championship (Chan) in South Africa.
