Chameleone promises to ‘deal with’ Mowzey Radio’s killer

Musician Jose Chameleone is one of the people who were most hurt by fellow singer Moses Ssekibogo’s death.

The singer who has been with the family of the deceased every step of the way from the time he was taken to hospital to the time he was laid to rest has promised to deal with Mowzey’s killer.

Chameleone who turned up for the final send off in military attire said that he is going to deal with the person who ended Radio’s life.

‘Fight back Chameleone. That criminal needs punishing;” he posted on his instagram moments after the burial.

Police is currently holding a one Hassan Muwonge on allegations of killing Mowzey Radio. He had been arrested with his colleagues at De Bar in Entebbe, George Egesa and Zavia Lukere who were later released on Police bond.

Mowzey Radio who died in the early morning hours of 1st February 2018 after 10 days at Case Hospital following a bar brawl has left many in tears. Following his death, his body was taken to the city mortuary for postmortem. He was then taken to his home at Neverland Makindye for Vigil. The next day Mass was held at Rubaga Cathedral and Radio’s body was taken to Kololo Independence grounds for public viewing. Here a whole night of a tribute concert took place as several artistes and fans paid respects to the fallen singer. He was laid to rest at his family home today.

The boy from Kireka, Ycliff Tugume aka Ykee Benda is surely having the time of his life .He just won an AFRIMMA award for Best New Comer on the music scene in Africa, announced huge plans for his upcoming debut concert early next year ,and is still dropping new music as we speak. What a life!

The ‘Time table’ singer has now revealed fresh plans to drop a new audio for a song titled,’ Singa’, that he is working on and promises it is going to be dropping anytime soon.

He shared art work for the song and captioned it,“It’s coming soon. #MusicForTheSoul”

Is Rema’s New Song About Eddy Kenzo?

Singer Rema Namakula released a new song tittled,”sili muyembe” loosely translated as ‘I am not a mango’ which has left fans wondering what these lyrics are really about.

The song depicts a man who is taking her woman for granted ,and not appreciating the valuable person he has. It also warns that if this behaviour continued, other suitors would swoop in and steal the good thing he has taken for granted.

Fans have now concluded that the song is definitely  talking about Eddy Kenzo who has been in a relationship with Kenzo for a while now, and  have a child together.

Bebe Cool Nominated in Prestigious AFRIMA-Ghana Awards

Bebe Cool has been nominated by the African Union Commission and the International committee of All Africa Music Awards, in the category of Best Male Artiste in Eastern Africa and Best African Rock categories .

He is the only Ugandan in the Best Male Artiste Eastern Africa category and is nominated for his song,’ Freedom’. The ‘Nsilikamu’ singer will have to beat  Diamond Platnumz(Tanzania),Harmonize(Tanzania),Kagwe Mungai(Kenya),Khaligraph Jones(Kenya),Nyashinsk(Kenya),Rayvzony Tanzania)  and Yamiu Mola from Ethiopia.

The AFRIMA programme for Ghana is going to be a four day event with a music business summit among other activities and winners will eventually be crowned on the 24th of November ,next month in Accra,Ghana.

Sheebah Karungi, Irene Namatovu and Sandra Nankoma will be representing Uganda,in the Best Female Eastern Africa category. Voting has already started.
