January signing Samson Ceasar Okhuti opened his Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA) goal account with a brace as they defeated Soana FC by 2-0 in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) on Tuesday evening at Nakivubo stadium.
Okhuti who is eager to keep his spot at the national team scored an early first half strike to send the Kasasiro boys into the lead before notching his second of the day later on in the second half of the game.
The striker was scoring for the first time since joining KCCA in the January mid-season transfer window from arch rivals Express FC.
He now rises his personally tally to 10 league goals and just two below the current top scorer Robert Ssentongo of URA FC.
The result helped KCCA F.C to remain top of the league with 38 points from 19 games, creating a 6 point gap between them and second placed URA. Meanwhile Soana are in 7th spot on the log with 28 points from 20 games.
