Vision Group company has notified the viewers of Bukedde TV1, Bukedde TV2 and Urban TV in the areas of Mpigi, Mukono, Wakiso, Jinja, Kayunga, Buikwe, Luweero, Nakaseke and Kalangala that the TV stations will be going off air for three days from Saturday, August 10th at 8am to August 12th at 6pm.

According to the management, this has been done in order to enable the national broadcaster, UBC and Uganda Communications Commision (UCC) to test the usage of digital transmission.

However, subscribers to DSTV and GOTV will not be affected by these changes. The changes are also bound to affect analog TV viewers of other TV stations which use the Kololo Mast operated by UBC. NTV is one of the TV stations.
