Bobi-Bebe

Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool have always been at logger heads. The two singers always want to fight each other to show supremacy and gain praise from their fans. However, last week, Bobi and Bebe could have killed each other.

It all started when Bobi Wine stormed club Amnesia as his arch rival, Bebe Cool was about to premiere his new video called “Everywhere I go”. Bobi along with his escorts arrived a few minutes to midnight, made their way to the VIP Section where Bebe Cool was also seated and grabbed their seats.

While everyone expected a standoff especially after the stolen shoes saga, Bobi kept his cool as did his rival Bebe.

When the time for him to premiere the video came, Bebe stormed the stage as Bobi Wine went to the counter to grab a drink and watch. Contrary to what everyone else expected, the two singers didn’t have an incident. “I was surprised, as in when I saw Bobi Wine coming in I thought this was going to be a big battle, but no one had time for the other. I wonder why he did it thought,” said a fan who had come to witness the premiere.

“Those two artistes could have killed each other, I thank God nothing bad happened. There was a time I was at a local event at Nakivubo some years ago, Bebe was cracking a lot of jokes about Bobi on stage and when he came off stage, he was ganged up and beaten by the Ghetto president’s boys back stage. Those two need to come to terms or they will one day fight to death,” said Annet a local music promoter.

Bebe Cool has over time tried to keep his beef with fellow artistes in check. The singer who had for long beefed the Radio and Weasel singers came to a neutral ground with them in 2013. They even staged a show together. He did the same with Leone Island’s Jose Chameleone among others.

Bobi Wine on the other hand has never ended his beef with most of the artistes who disagree with his philosophy. Among these is Buchaman, Bebe and Tigan among others.
