Black Market Record teams up with Daddy Andre, Arrow Bwoy and Gabu in new banger Koroga

Three stars from east Africa: Gabu the award winning artist from Kompakt Records and co-founder with Steve Ogechi of Kompakt Records alongside Ugandan singer, song writer and producer, Daddy Andre  and arrow Bwoy are set to release a Studding banger called “KOROGA” for lovers of great music and good vibes. The hit Koroga is a blend of three nationals including the director Kenny, originally wasafi records producer.

Key development in the song’s creation and collaboration. GABU, “Arrow Bwoy is a great artist  in east Africa and Daddy Andre has a different  kind of style and sound. Koroga is a brooding number, containing a blend of melancholic yet entertaining lines that discuss finding ones comfort, the three acts alongside Churchill are the lyrical geniuses behind the hit. The video setting for this song is set to be shot in Tanzania, the setting includes a together performance with beautiful models and flexy guys in an outside performance, an indoor performance by Gabriel Kagundu ( GABU) Famous hitmaker for his single debut PAULINA (2004) under Calif records then. He is famously known for his club bangers DIGI DIGI and MURDER. The dancehall artist finally took his exit from Kaka Empire after two years.

Andrew Ojambo (DADDY ANDRE) well known for his studding hit “you and me” featuring Lydia Jazmine. He started as a producer and song writer, his songs among others are Ku Kyoka, and Now. Daddy Andre is prominent in many aspects of music including being a lyricist, a producer and above all a music artist. As a writer Daddy Andre has written for many prominent artists like Bebe Cool, Eddy Kenzo, Spice Diana, Sheeba, Desire Luzinda, Ceasorous and Mun G among others. Andre’s musical touch cuts across Afro beat, Hip-hop, Dancehall, Afro pop and RnB. Daddy Andre won the song of the year award (2018/2019) by galaxy FM. Andre is also the most nominated producer, best song writer of the year, best dancehall song, best dancehall artist, best collaboration and best song of the year under the Zzina Awards.

A little insight from the three artists only says how big the hit dropping soon is going to be. A combination of dancehall, hip-hop, and afro pop is really something worth the wait.

Joan Lule’s signature TV show Sitima y’amaka is back but this time on Top TV. The show that started on 20th April has received massive acceptance and support in its two months on air. Sitima y’amaka airs every Saturday at 11PM.

Goat Races to return October

One of Uganda’s most popular social events, the Royal Ascot Goat Races, which curved a special place as the most anticipated event on Uganda’s social calendar returns this October.

At an official announcement made Thursday at Kabira Country Club, the organisers confirmed the ultimate fun show in Uganda will be happening on Saturday, October 12, 2019.

This event which will be hosted at its customary venue of Speke Resort, Munyonyo promises to recreate one of the most eagerly awaited weekends of merrymaking and extravagant fashion, which were the hallmarks of the Goat Races for years.

“The Goat Races are more than just another event in Uganda, it’s a place where people can come and network and mix along with business, pleasure and have a fun humorous time with good food and drinks all day long,” Ruparelia Group’s Managing Director Rajiv Ruparelia, the organisers of the event, said.

The goat races will entail eight races over the course of the day, with each race featuring eight goats. Anyone can sponsor a race, or buy a goat to participate in a race. The proceeds generated from the races will then go to a selected charity.

Ykee Benda becomes a father, set to celebrate in Burundi

Singer Ykee Benda is over the moon today. The singer today became a father for the very first time after his yet anonymous fiancee gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.

The yet to be unveiled toddler has been named Donte Quain Tugume Muhagazi. Ykee Benda has taken the celebrations to Lacosta beach in Bujumbura, Burundi where he will be performing for the very first time this Sunday.
