Black Market Record teams up with Daddy Andre, Arrow Bwoy and Gabu in new banger Koroga

Three stars from east Africa: Gabu the award winning artist from Kompakt Records and co-founder with Steve Ogechi of Kompakt Records alongside Ugandan singer, song writer and producer, Daddy Andre  and arrow Bwoy are set to release a Studding banger called “KOROGA” for lovers of great music and good vibes. The hit Koroga is a blend of three nationals including the director Kenny, originally wasafi records producer.

Key development in the song’s creation and collaboration. GABU, “Arrow Bwoy is a great artist  in east Africa and Daddy Andre has a different  kind of style and sound. And therefore the blend among  the three acts would take the market by force.” (DADDY ANDRE) “It’s an African sure hit song from east Africa of course, big up to Gabu and Arrow Bwoy for inviting me on board to get this track, it is a blessing to me.” ARROW BWOY.The trio layered arrangement expresses ambitious orchestrations, more of a concert band with distorted electronic synthesizer that act as the melodic instrument, the lyrical inspiration was a club song and a different kind of style by all the artists in it. Therefore this attracts a more concert setting with African dances

Koroga is a brooding number, containing a blend of melancholic yet entertaining lines that discuss finding ones comfort, the three acts alongside Churchill are the lyrical geniuses behind the hit. The video setting for this song is set to be shot in Tanzania, the setting includes a together performance with beautiful models and flexy guys in an outside performance, an indoor performance by Gabriel Kagundu ( GABU) Famous hitmaker for his single debut PAULINA (2004) under Calif records then. (2006) met with Frasha and Bon’eye and formed P-UNIT. The band caused tension to the African hip-hop  market and industry following a series of industry awards, (channel O awards). Gabu is known for his distinct designs that have been modelled on the catwalk by fashion designers such as Blackbird Jeans and Kepha Maina. He is an ambassador for the Meru Hospice. Gabu has won over 18 awards which include the most recent award, (2017) Bingwa Music Awards Verse of the Year.Ali Yusuf (ARROW BWOY) a Kenyan artist who grew up between two worlds and borrows his accent from his maternal background, Uganda. This setting has given him the advantage of culture and diversity and how to go by this audiences. He looks up to Redsan, E-sir and Chameleone for content music. He is famously known for his club bangers DIGI DIGI and MURDER. The dancehall artist finally took his exit from Kaka Empire after two years.

Andrew Ojambo (DADDY ANDRE) well known for his studding hit “you and me” featuring Lydia Jazmine. He started as a producer and song writer, his songs among others are Ku Kyoka, and Now. Daddy Andre is prominent in many aspects of music including being a lyricist, a producer and above all a music artist. As a writer Daddy Andre has written for many prominent artists like Bebe Cool, Eddy Kenzo, Spice Diana, Sheeba, Desire Luzinda, Ceasorous and Mun G among others. Andre’s musical touch cuts across Afro beat, Hip-hop, Dancehall, Afro pop and RnB. Daddy Andre won the song of the year award (2018/2019) by galaxy FM. Andre is also the most nominated producer, best song writer of the year, best dancehall song, best dancehall artist, best collaboration and best song of the year under the Zzina Awards.

A little insight from the three artists only says how big the hit dropping soon is going to be. A combination of dancehall, hip-hop, and afro pop is really something worth the wait.

Jose Chameleone cleans up Twitter, follows only two Ugandan artistes, your guess is as good as ours.

After being unfollowed by the President or rather his administrator, Jose Chameleone has not taken Twitter lightly. The singer has done some cleaning up and has been left with only 108 accounts to follow and only two of those are Ugandan artistes.

It is not rocket science that Chameleone only decides to follow his two brothers Pallaso and Radio&Weasel, had it been any others maybe we would be wondering the criteria he used.

Chameleone is one of the most followed Ugandan artistes on Twitter and not following you may not go so well with you as an artiste.

Judiciary secretary Bigirimana Rubbishes Reports he’s been Denied Visa to the US

SECRETARY TO the Judiciary, Pius Bigirimana has described reports that he’s been denied a visa to The United States as ‘malice’ insisting was in New York just recently.

There was a published story that Bigirimana was denied entry to The States where he was invited to attend the inauguration of Prof Jim Gash as the president of Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. According prior News, Bigirimana was expected to travel alongside other judicial officials including Chief Justice Bart Katureebe.

Reacting to the story, Bigirimana describes the reports as malice and unfounded.“This is malice . I returned from New York recently. That’s rubbish,” he said. Indeed, Bigirimana was in the United States in May this year for the 100th anniversary of the International Labour Organization (ILO) to which he is the secretary. As part of its 100th anniversary, ILO painted a mural at the Uganda Embassy in New York in recognition of the efforts the government has put in place to solve youth unemployment.

The mural, part of the five painted around New York, specifically honours the Youth Livelihood Programme (YLP) for its unique approach in promoting youth entrepreneurship while contributing to the reduction of youth unemployment.To date, the Programme which was initiated by Bigirimana following his posting to the Gender Ministry in June 2013, has funded 20,159 youth projects. Up to Shs9,232 billion has been revolved to finance another youth 1,090 projects.Bigirimana has been at the forefront for integrity and has been praised by President Yoweri Museveni for his role in fighting corruption in Uganda.He has also been praised for his hard work and patriotism.

Talent Africa Group has in the past yet somilarly big events like Nyege Nyege and hosted many foreign artistes and have at all instances sold out. With such momentum we can be sure ASFA 2019 will be another event to look upto, probably the best ever edition so far.
