By Our Reporter

It was a double victory for Bebe Cool as France carried the day in the World Cup finals on Sunday. We have learnt that the singer had staked big on France winning, and lucky for him, the French side managed to defeat Croatia 4 – 2 to be crowned World football champions.

Bebe Cool says he had placed a bet of 2000 dollars on the game. He made the revelation while talking about his partnership with betting company, BetWay Uganda.

“Betting is a not a gamble, but a calculated risk. For example I placed a bet of US$ 2000 on France during the World Cup finals, and I won US$ 5000 when they defeated Croatia.” He stated. “You can see why I welcomed BetWay on board for my concert.”

He went on to further extend his gratitude to BetWay, thanking them for coming on board to support his upcoming “Golden Heart” concert whose part proceeds will go towards facilitating children with heart complications to receive specialized treatment in India.

It should be noted that Bebe Cool recently sealed a sponsorship deal with BetWay Uganda in which the betting company is contributing Ugx 20 million towards the concert and will also buy 100 concert tickets which will be given away to lucky fans.

On one of the jokes about Rwanda Air, genocide was mentioned as one of the topics air hostesses can’t miss.

Now Rwandans have picked that up and taken offence. They have given Salvado an ultimatum to apologize. But he is not about to allow.

On his Twitter profile, he says those offended are missing the humour. The Rwandans insist the 1994 Genocide against the tutsi is not something to joke about.
