Following the signing into law of the Anti-Homosexuality Act by President Yoweri Museveni on 24 February 2014, the Coalition of Religious & Civil Society Organizations, on behalf of all faiths and on behalf of the broader Ugandan society, has organised a National Thanksgiving Service.
The half-day event will take place on Monday 31st March, 2014 at the Kololo Independence Grounds from 8.00am to 1.00pm. His Excellency the President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, will be the Chief Guest. All Ugandans are invited to be part of this historic occasion.
The Coalition of Religious & Civil Society Organizations, working with the leaders of the Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Muslim/Islamic, Orthodox, Pentecostal, and Seventh Day Adventist faiths, has called on all religious leaders to encourage their followers to attend the Thanksgiving Service.
