Afrigo Band, Michael Kitanda for this year’s Milege Music Festival

Afrigo Band and sax king Michael Kitanda will be the main acts at this year’s edition of the Milege World Music Festival that is hosted at the Botanical Gardens in Entebbe. They will perform alongside a host of other local artistes  and several other performers jetting in from Israel, Canada, China and Tanzania.

The three-day festival which aims to promote tourism and celebrate culture through the arts will take place from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th, November.

Besides the music performances, there are several other activities lined up which include; zoo visits to Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC), visiting the Chimpanzees on Ngamba island, jam sessions, children’s games, and biking among others. Revelers will also be treated to a  camping experience.
