Sensational attacking midfielder Suleiman Mutyaba has reunited with 6-time league champions Express Football Club after being axed at Vipers Sports Club by new head coach Abdullah Mubiru.
Mutyaba who was enjoying his third stint with the Kitende based side was asked to leave along with other four players that included Ibrahim Sadam Juma, John Ssemazzi, Allan Kyambadde and Yusuf Musika.
The 2013/2014 season MVP Allan Kyambadde and John Ssemazzi have since rejoined the Red Eagles on a season long loan deal but can be called back to Vipers any time if they regain their full playing potential. On the other hand, Sadam Juma and Yusuf Musika are yet to identify with any club.
Mutyaba joined the 10-time Uganda Cup record winners before the start of last season (2015/2016) and featured for them during the entire first round before crossing back to Vipers in the January transfer window of 2016. He trained with the Red Eagles on Monday and the development of their reunion was confirmed in short statement published on club’s official Facebook page. “As usual the main man was at it after Monday’s training session. Welcome back home, Suleiman Mutyaba.”
