Yesterday, musician Bobi Wine opened up the Bobi Wine Foundation in Kamwokya in presence of US Ambassador Deborah Malac and American bluegrass band Henhouse Prowlers that redid Eddy Kenzo’s Sitya Loss song.
While appearing on NTV the Beat yesterday, Bobi said that his foundation is aimed at empowering the ghetto youths and giving them a reason to still win despite their bad background.
The self proclaimed Ghetto president also added that very often Ghetto youth have been viewed as criminals and wanted to prove to the public that they also work as they showcased their skills in music, art, boxing, crafts and mechanics among others.
Bobi concluded by advising the youth to believe in themselves, revealing that everyone can make a difference even if you are still young.
