The trailer for “Queen of Katwe” has finally been released. Not surprisingly, Oscar Winner Lupita Nyong’o, who is the leading actress in the movie, could not hide her excitement.

Based on a true story, “Queen of Katwe” is about a Ugandan chess prodigy who rises from the slums of Katwe to become a world chess champion. Lupita stars as the mother of the chess prodigy Phiona Mutesi, who is portrayed by Madina Nalwanga.
The movie will be released in September this year.
