Following their little incident at Club Venom last week, singer Jose Chameleone has come out to clear the air about his alleged fight with DJ Roja. It is said that Chameleone threw a glass at DJ Roja after he (Roja) refused to play his (Chameleone) music. However, the singer says that he has no problem with the DJ and the whole issue is being blown out of proportion.
It all started when Chameleone asked his producer to take a flash disk with his new song, “Cleopatra” to the DJ to play it. The producer was informed that Chameleone’s music had been given a temporary ban at the club by his bosses. It is at this point that Chameleone stopped by the DJ booth and asked Roja to play his music, the DJ refused and was pushed out of the booth. Chameleone then took over and played his song.
Roja claims that as he was walking away towards his boss’ office, after being pushed out of the booth, Chameleone threw a glass in his direction. Chameleone, however says that there was a miscommunication and the whole issue is being blown out of proportion.
The singer called Roja one of his best friends who has played his music at all his concerts. “Roja is my good friend; he has played music at all my concerts. But there are people out there blowing this out of proportion,” he said.
Well, at least it is good to know that Chameleone still takes Roja as his friend.
