A practically naked Rihanna sparkled in a sheer dress encrusted with hundreds of thousands of crystals as she arrived at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York last night (June 2).
The 26-year-old singer donned a custom Adam Selman gown encrusted with a whopping 216,000 Swarovski crystals, complete with matching headpiece and a fur shawl, as she posed on the red carpet.
The star was being honoured with the Fashion Icon of the Year award at the prestigious event, which she collected from American Vogue-editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
During her acceptance speech, Rihanna enthused: “I can compensate for all of my weaknesses with fashion.
“Fashion should never be frustrating, it should be fun.”
