Some of Bebe Cool’s fans are not happy with the Gagamel boss following his recent announcement that his next concert will be held at the Kampala Serena hotel.
The singer has decided to follow in the footsteps of fellow musicians Juliana Kanyomozi and Maurice Kirya who have in the recent past pulled mammoth crowds to the hotel for their annual concerts.
A Gagamel fan who was not happy with the singer’s move to hold his next album launch at such an expensive place burst out with anger at Club Amnesia. The angry fun hurled insults at the popular singer who has one of the biggest online following among musicians in Uganda.
The fan was heard shouting at Bebe to reconsider his decision and call off the Serena concert since most of his fans are not rich enough to afford going to Serena.
“Where do you expect a campus kid to get 100,000shs to pay for a show at Serena hotel?” the angry man asked.
Bebe controlled his anger as he avoided an exchange with the bold fan, a move that shocked many given his aggressive nature. We are not yet sure whether the ‘Cocodiosis’ singer will look into this issue for the sake of his young unemployed fan base.
It should be noted that the award winning musician who recently bagged 6 accolades at a single music award ceremony commands a lot of online support. Most of his fans may miss out on the show given their low incomes
