Sheebah Karungi recently left the country on Tuesday, beginning a six-month stay in the diaspora.
This announcement came shortly after and during her highly successful Neyanziza concert on 4th October, where she shared that she would be stepping away from the music scene to focus on her pregnancy.
Before her departure, Sheebah’s close friends threw her a surprise baby shower to celebrate her upcoming journey into motherhood. It was an emotional moment for her friends and team as they prepared for life without her.

One of Sheebah’s closest companions, dancer Ritah Danchall, expressed her sadness to the media, revealing how much she would miss Sheebah.
“It’s painful, for six months I won’t be seeing her. My boss, my friend is gone. I am a loner in this industry, and she has always been there to listen when I have had issues. Who am I gonna tell my issues now?” Ritah shared emotionally.
